When a believer says it it is even worse. This is what they are doing. They are replacing a curse word with God’s name. Instead of saying, “Oh F*&K” They say,”Oh my God.” Which is worse? The second is worse. It’s called blaspheme, It’s called taking the Lord’s name in vain.

Why if someone loves God would they use His name as a cuss word? Is it because they don’t care? Sometimes I can’t tell.

Today is mother’s day. You love your mom right? Well just for today how bout we walk around using our mother’s names as cuss words. Especially when she is around. Right in front of her. How do you think she would feel? Hurt? Belittled? Unappreciated? HATED?

So how do you think God feels when we use His name with such disrespect. I’ll tell you what, SATAN LOVES IT. Especially if it comes from a person who proclaims to love, The One and Only God.

What about when someone says,”JESUS CHRIST!”? Oh man. This is worse than the other. This is God’s Son who laid down His life for their salvation. Talk about wanting to punch someone in the face. But, I can’t because, the Bible says not to.

38 “You have heard the law that says the punishment must match the injury: ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.’ 39 But I say, do not resist an evil person! If someone slaps you on the right cheek, offer the other cheek also. 40 If you are sued in court and your shirt is taken from you, give your coat, too. Matthew 5:38-40 NLT

I hope and pray that people will love God enough to actually think about what they say and do.

Thanks Dad it’s all your fault. I’m joking, but seriously, my Dad emailed me the video below which started my think meat (My Brain) a turnin. I usually misspell brain by putting the i before the a. So I call my brain my “think meat” Or Brian. Anyway, Brian woke up and started obsessively studying these things called, QuadCopter’s or MultiCopters.

I took the leap and started ordering piece by piece as funds would allow all the necessary components to build one of these contraptions. Of course everything was cheapest in China, the only downside is shipping time. Not price, I got all the shipping for FREE. So I’ve had a motor show up here for 9 bucks and propellers there for 3 dollar bills. It took some patience but I was able to get everything I needed for about 80 bucks online over time in 3 to 9 dollar increments.

I had the 2.4Ghz radio and receiver and 2200mah battery for my T-28 already. I gutted the plane since we live at 6700 feet with a million pine trees conventional flying is pretty much outta the question for me. The Flip HD camera was a present I received from my beautiful wife for my birthday. Yes, I strapped it to a piece of flying wood, we aren’t going to talk about that right now.

I cut the frame or booms as we call them in the multirotor world. I cut them outta some scrap pine that I had left over from the signs that I make. I cut the legs and plates from 10 dollars worth of aluminum I got at thee ol hardware store up here. Which is over priced a few bucks, because they have to “drive” their inventory up the mountain. Oh how merchant excuses frustrate me. If I can get free shipping from China for almost every component why does every product in Big Bear need to be marked up 2 to 3 dollars including macaroni and cheese from Stater Bros?

Consumers are spending their money just filling up their gas tanks to come up the mountain for the day. They do a little walking around, some window shopping and drive home after spending more money on gas.

My neighbors in the village are stressing out. I try to witness to them and teach them about Jesus daily. But they still get tricked. It’s always “so and so’s fault” It’s either this guys fault and that guy, it’s the land lord or the merchant next door who’s “selling the same type of merchandise.” It’s the president’s fault or congress or the mayor or or or… None of them see or hear or understand the Truth.

One of my merchant neighbors had a Catholic Priest in the other day to “Bless and Cleanse” his business. Mind you he sells stuff that represent false god’s(Satan). Did the priest say anything about these abominations to the Lord? Nope, he sprinkled some “holy water” and told the man that the Lord blessed and cleansed it. LIES!! To truly cleanse it he should have explained to the man, “See this piece of jewelry it represents buddha(Satan) and this represents paganism(Satan) and this represent superstitions(Satan) and this, and that, and this. If you want the Lord to honor you, don’t you think you should honor the Lord by getting rid of and not selling these false idols? Especially if you’re making a profit off merchandise that helps Satan lead people astray? Secondly you need to start praying and developing a relationship with God yourself through His Son Jesus.”

I ask you to please pray for the people up here, actually Pray for people EVERYWHERE. God loves them all very much and would love for them all to be saved. Please pray that Jesus opens their eyes so that they may see that they have been deceived. Pray for them to be granted repentance and forgiven. Pray they stop following heritages and religions and start following Jesus.

“Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.” Romans 12:12

I remember when I first started reading the Bible. I asked Jesus,”You mean I have to change? Can’t you just magically change me? He said, “Yes, you have to change. You have to repent.” Turns out God doesn’t do magic. He also said, “You have to stop looking at Me and the world in a human point of view. You have to learn and do what the Bible says. You have to learn what the world really is and what I say to do through my Word.” I was like, oh man this is gonna be hard, will you help me? and He said, “Yes of course.”

I’m really sad to say this, but I have met a lot of people who profess to be Christian’s and do nothing the Bible says. They have made up their own version of who they want Jesus to be, because it’s too hard to actually do what the Bible says. It’s easier to ask someone’s opinion, philosophy or point of view. I’ve had a lot of people give me their opinion or advise. I’ve matched those opinions up to the Bible and almost all of them were wrong. Even your most trusted human can and probably will lead you astray. It could be your, Mother, Father, Sister, Brother, Husband, Wife, Friend, even your Pastor.

Check everything you hear or read with the Bible. I can’t count how many times Satan has tried to deceive me through people I trust.

Even if they are very heartfelt and seem like they mean well. Check out these verses. Keep in mind, Peter loved Jesus and didn’t want anything to happen to him. His feelings allowed Satan to take control of him. He wanted Jesus to be something other than what He is.

Matthew 16:20-23 NLT

20 Then he sternly warned the disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah.

21 From then on Jesus began to tell his disciples plainly that it was necessary for him to go to Jerusalem, and that he would suffer many terrible things at the hands of the elders, the leading priests, and the teachers of religious law. He would be killed, but on the third day he would be raised from the dead.

22 But Peter took him aside and began to reprimand him for saying such things. “Heaven forbid, Lord,” he said. “This will never happen to you!”

23 Jesus turned to Peter and said, “Get away from me, Satan! You are a dangerous trap to me. You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, not from God’s.”

Satan has no shame he even tried to deceive Jesus through His close friend.

God tells us to pay attention. Just because you are saved doesn’t mean you are safe from deception.

We all know the Pledge of allegiance. Right?

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

When I joined the military (Navy) to serve this country I had no idea that there was only one way to God. Most of the guys I served with didn’t believe in Jesus, God, or much of anything. I’d say 99.7 percent of us had no idea what the Bible said. The guys I know that died(Marines), died for this country without a savior. They not only gave up their lives, they gave up their souls. They got off the boat and never came back.

Can you say regret? I sure wish I had read and understood what the Bible said back then.

Before you go saying,”Oh we don’t know that, that’s up to God. Let me yell something into your eye balls, THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO GOD, BY ACCEPTING JESUS AS OUR LORD AND SAVIOR AND REPENTING FROM SIN.” If they didn’t do that, God can’t do anything for them. WHY? Because it would make GOD a liar. HE has never and will never lie. Therefore THERE IS NO SALVATION WITHOUT JESUS. Again, can you say, regret?

When serving this country we stand watch against some very angry people. We protect peoples rights to “freedom of religion” That in a nut shell means, “we die for people to have the freedom to suffer in hell for eternity”. I knew guys(again, Marines) who gave their lives and souls so that people could have the “freedom” to do disgusting things in Las Vegas, watch disgusting things made by Hollywood. etc, etc. According to the Bible’s Standards, GOD’S STANDARDS, America is NASTY.

These men and women gave their eternal souls and they didn’t know any better, they believed they were doing the right thing. Why? Because a Christian in their lives didn’t read their Bible thoroughly and take it seriously enough to explain the true Gospel to them. Not some watered down, touchy feely, all dogs go to heaven garbage. NO JESUS, NO SALVATION it’s that simple.

This is no joke. If you know someone who doesn’t understand who Jesus is, time could be up for them tomorrow. Get on it. Satan kills 150,000 people everyday. If they haven’t been born again they’re lost. Oh yeah and God loves EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHO DIES. So His heart breaks every time one goes down without receiving their salvation.

This is my pledge of allegiance is to Jesus not a “flag”.

I recently finished Emunah’s story. I received a lot of wonderful comments on facebook and the site. But I also noticed a lot of hints that some people aren’t paying close attention to what their Bibles actually say. This is common and very very dangerous.

A lot of people have made the comment,”Oh I’m sorry about your daughter, now you have an angel in heaven looking down on you and waiting for you.”

Not one bit Biblical. Actually these are two lies. She is neither an angel or waiting on me. I know people are doing their best to be sympathetic and caring but I’d rather they know the truth.

HUMANS DO NOT BECOME ANGELS AND THE FAMILY IS NOT ETERNAL. It’s gonna be you and Jesus, the rest is up to Him.

Can a Hippo become an elephant? These are two different creations. An Angel is a creation created by God to be an Angel. A Human is a Creation Created by God to be a human. A Lion is a creation created by…You get the point.

I’ll share the following verses I hope this helps the people who fell into believing the lie that humans become angels. I also hope it helps those who think a family can be eternal then somehow become gods themselves, get their own planet and have spirit babies, ie. Mormons. Talk about buying into a lie.

27 Then Jesus was approached by some Sadducees—religious leaders who say there is no resurrection from the dead. 28 They posed this question: “Teacher, Moses gave us a law that if a man dies, leaving a wife but no children, his brother should marry the widow and have a child who will carry on the brother’s name. 29 Well, suppose there were seven brothers. The oldest one married and then died without children. 30 So the second brother married the widow, but he also died. 31 Then the third brother married her. This continued with all seven of them, who died without children. 32 Finally, the woman also died. 33 So tell us, whose wife will she be in the resurrection? For all seven were married to her!”

34 Jesus replied, “Marriage is for people here on earth. 35 But in the age to come, those worthy of being raised from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage. 36 And they will never die again. In this respect they will be like angels. They are children of God and children of the resurrection.”

After we are resurrected into our ETERNAL BODIES we will never die or marry again just like angels who never die or marry. It does not say what people think. It says, “they will never die again. In this respect they will be like angels.” Not, “They will die and become angels.”

I probably won’t ever see my wife and kids again after I die, but it doesn’t change the fact that I will love them till death.

Remember, death can be two things.
Death is a wonderful thing, if the person has received their salvation.
Death is a horrible thing if the person never received their free gift of Jesus.

We prayed for God’s Will for the baby. If this is how it was going to be then we needed to be strong and accept it. It was hard to accept. It was hard not to be mad at the doctor up here. It was really hard for me not to go into his office grab him by the throat and choke him till he explained to me why he didn’t look at the ultrasound pictures and see that my little baby girl didn’t have any major organs? It was very difficult. Before we knew Jesus, that guy would have had a hurting put on him and I would have been in jail for sure. But, God says that vengeance is His and to not hurt anyone. So I prayed for Him to give me strength and understanding and of course, He did.

Jacie would accept the fact that the baby was not going to come into this world to be with us and then, she’d kick. The process would start all over again for her. I only had to control my anger and sadness. Jacie had to deal with anger, sadness, pain, discomfort, heartbreak, and darkness. By the end of the weekend she was a wreck. I was given a huge amount of comfort from the Lord. He gave me strength and understanding. He explained to me how our flesh is just a broken infected vehicle for our soul and nothing more. He explained how the baby was not going to suffer. Jacie asked me what she was supposed to do, she asked me how they could just send her home. I finally told her to call the hospital and ask the doctor what they expected her to do, to tell them that she couldn’t do this without without having a nervous breakdown. She did, and they told us to come back in.

They started to induce Jacie at 2:00am by 6:00am she still had not dilated.
All the doctors, nurses and assistants knew what was going on, you could see it on their faces. We told our doctor that we didn’t want anyone trying to comfort us. They all did a very good job leaving us alone for the most part. Most of them had never heard of Potter syndrome and the ones that had, had never seen an actual case.

At 8:00am Jacie started to have severe pain. She was handling it but I could tell she was hurting bad. I remember just standing over her and feeling helpless. I couldn’t do anything for her, I couldn’t help her at all. I asked the nurse for the epidural and she said,”Ok let’s check to see how dilated she is.” She was still at a zero. They couldn’t do an epidural until she was dilating and she hadn’t even dilated to a one. The nurse left and Jacie continued in pain. The nurse returned with some pain medication which helped a little. She also gave Jacie more medication to help the induction along. Jacie would doze off and wake up in pain. It was terrible.

Later they checked again to see if she had dilated and, yep you guessed it, zero. By now Jacie was in so much pain she was rolling back and forth on the bed moaning. She looked up at me and said,”help.” Then she said,”Jesus, please help me.” I had never heard her pray out loud before. It floored me. I put my hand on her forehead and started praying for her.

Most of the time when we as people pray, we tend to always ask for stuff. I’ve learned that God is constantly giving and wants to give. I am blessed to have gone through what I have, it has brought me a tremendous amount of understanding. So my silent prayer was this,”Thank you for everything, thank you for being here with us, thank you for helping us.” I could only say thank you over and over. As I was praying Jacie stopped rolling and it seemed like she was being soothed. I prayed over her for an hour. While I was praying a previous experience came to mind. About a year earlier I was in the church nursery doing my “toddler watching duty” with a mother who told me a story. At the time I thought the story was kinda strange. As we were watching the toddlers she abruptly blurted out,”My daughter had an ear infection this week Jake, a couple days into it she asked me to pray for her.” The mother said she laid hands on her daughter’s ear and prayed that God would relieve the pain and heal her daughter. She was shocked and scared when her daughters ear drum ruptured almost immediately after her prayer, blood poured from her ear. She said she panicked and yelled for her husband but her daughter said, “Thank you mommy, it doesn’t hurt anymore.”

Jacie looked up at me after the hour and said, “I feel like I need to push.” I called the nurse and told her, “Jacie thinks she needs to push.” I was trying my best not to be argumentative, I mean how could she need to push she wasn’t even dilated? Amy, our nurse who didn’t pray came in and said ok let’s check her. She pulled up the gown and I saw blood. She said yep she’s crowning. Jacie had gone from a zero to crowning during the hour. Going through the pain is the only way to get it to stop hurting. God brought her through it faster.

The babies body came out without a doctor in the room. She was wrapped up and taken away. She never took a breath, never let out a cry. Talk about God being merciful. The date was 11-9-11. It turns out that our nurse Amy was Jewish. I felt blessed to have one of God’s chosen people deliver her. I tried and tried to explain who Jesus was to Amy during our visits there. I told her that her and I believed in the same God. I asked her if she believed in and followed the Ten Commandments. She said she tried to. I asked her if she’d ever told a lie. She admitted she had, so I asked how she would be forgiven for breaking God’s law without making a blood sacrifice. I tried to explain to her that Jesus was that Sacrifice and that He had done that for her and that if she would believe in Him and repent she would be forgiven of her sins and saved from Hell. But of course Satan would interrupt and get her out of the room through a phone call or another patient’s needs. I pray for her salvation and ask that as you read this you ask Jesus to knock on Amy’s heart, she was such a wonderful help to us.

We went home and really didn’t know what to do. Jacie was so hurt and broken. She didn’t know if we should name the baby. We kinda wanted to pretend the whole thing didn’t happen. It was rough. A social worker called and asked us what her name was for the death certificate. We didn’t have anything prepared. We small talked about it but couldn’t come up with anything. Two days later we woke up in morning and Jacie said,”I wanna name the baby.”I said,”Ok, what do you want to name her.” I already knew she had stayed in heaven with God. I was grateful she never had to come into this horrible broken world. This place is fallen and hard enough to deal with, let alone having a body that doesn’t work. I was still thanking God. Jacie said,”I wanna name her Faith or Trust.” I was elated, here this woman had just been through one of the toughest experiences of her life and she still had her faith and trust in Jesus. She never broke, no matter how much Satan beat on her she never broke. He killed her baby and she was still standing in the Lord. I said,”Ok cool, let’s name her Faith.” She thought that that was a little bit to “normal” of a name for us to use so she said,”I wish I knew how to say Faith or trust in Hebrew.” Then she got up to take a shower.

Just to back pedal and fill you in. Our daughter is named Cipher. She had been calling the baby Munah Cupcake for the previous two months. She’d rub Jacie’s belly and say, “Munah Cupcake, Munah Cupcake.” Over and over. She’s a character for sure. We thought it was funny and silly to say the least. Well, Jacie get’s out of the shower and says, “Let’s just name the baby, Munah Cupcake.” Me, being a sometimes agreeable husband said, “sure, ok.”

The first thought that popped into my head was,”People already think we’re crazy for believing in Jesus now they’re just gonna think we’ve lost it completely.”

I called my dad and told him what we had decided and he kinda gave me a long pause and said,”Well, she’s the one going through all this if that makes her feel better then so be it.” I went out to run some errands. I got the mail later that day and dropped it off back at the house and left to get some groceries. I noticed that our new subscription to Answers magazine had come in. I was looking forward to reading it when I was done running around. I was walking into the store when my phone rang. It was Jacie and she was crying. I asked,”What’s wrong.” “Do you know how to say Faith in Hebrew?” “No, I told you I don’t.” She said it’s,”Emunah.” I was floored. There was an article in the Magazine titled “Blind Faith” And in the article the translation for Faith and Trust was written. Yet again, another gift from our Lord. He had named the baby Faith in His chosen peoples language through our 4 year old before we even knew what was going on. It confirmed everything. It was such a beautiful thing to do for someone who was hurting so bad and so confused. We are so small and insignificant to each other but God cares about each and everyone of us. The planning and care that went into delivering us from this attack by the enemy couldn’t have been executed any better. I can’t explain to you how much I love Jesus.

Today is Jacie’s 27th birthday and I hope and pray it is one she’ll never forget. I love you Lady and I know God loves you more.

Now, I’d like to warn you to keep a watchful eye for those trying to deceive you into taking your life into your own hands. Leave it in Jesus’ hands. You gave your life to Him. It’s His to take care of. Satan always tries to scare and trick us into taking control of our lives back from God.
